ICL
Scanner
Laser Test Procedure |
| This photo shows the complete scanner
opearating normally. It is easy to see the laser beams
produced. Though the power is low, it is not recommended that you look into
the beams for any length of time.
When you receive your ICL Scanner, it may be in full working order. However, we sell these items for the internal parts only, and test ONLY the laser. All other parts are strictly "as-is". |
|
| Normal operation (as shown
above) requires correct configuration of the dipswitches on the under side
of the unit.
SW1 (upper bank) all ON apart from numbers 2 & 7 SW2 (lower bank) all OFF apart from numbers 3 & 4

Apply 24V to the power supply, taking care
not to touch any part of the high voltage circuitry. The source
should be regulated, and have a current capacity of at least 2A.
