Military Night Vision Scope

Incorporating the Philips XX1332

2nd Generation Image Intensifier

This is a night-vision scope as used in tanks and APC's (including the Ferret).

The unit contains a Philips XX1332 50mm 2nd generation image intensifier, a 66mm F1.3 objective lens (with adjustable iris), and a large "panoramic" style eyepiece.  The panoramic eyepiece provides a balanced view to both eyes, making it very "comfortable" to use.

The XX1332 is arguably the best intensifier available for security, wildlife and astronomy purposes, providing high gain, high sensitivity, and resolution equivalent to more than 2 megapixels!  The huge 50mm photocathode provides image quality which is nothing less than breathtaking.

This superior quality, military night vision scope will operate in near total darkness.  Even starlight is sufficient for a crystal clear view!

Available "as-new" or "used".  Suitable for wildlife, astronomy, or your Ferret armored car!

The view seen through the eyepiece is even more amazing!

We have many satisfied customers.  You will be amazed by the quality and power of this scope, just as they were:

"Absolutely superb! am honestly very, very pleased with it"

"chuffed with it"

"How much would something like this cost when new, I wonder ?"

"Quite remarkable!"

This photograph was sent to us by a recent customer.  He has painted the scope black, and mounted it on a tripod.  The result is professional, and very impressive.

This scope is used for educational wildlife including school trips and badger watching.  The owner has previous experience of other night-vision equipment, but finds the new periscope outperforms all other instruments he has used, including devices that cost considerably more.

"We have a superior bit of kit, and I honestly love showing it off to friends"

"I have in the past paid much more for much less"
