This unit is part of a radar transmitter bult in the UK by Racal, utilising the Varian (CPI) VKE2436L1 "Extended Interaction Klystron Oscillator". The exact operating frequency is not known but we have reason to believe this is around 75GHz. The waveguide is WG26 / WR12, rated for 60 - 90GHz, whereas the klystron is available from 50 - 80GHz. Pulled from a working system but unable to test, hence offered "as is".
The VKE2436L is specified as a 70 Watt CW tube, operating at 90mA. Water cooled.
