The Racal RA1795 is a high specification communications receiver. This unit is configured for continuous coverage from 20MHz to 511.99999MHz, with multiple filter bandwidths and multiple demodulation modes. The bandwidths available are 3/10/20/50/100 & 300 KHz, with internal demodulation of AM/FM/USB/LSB and CW. There is a memory store/recal function, fast and slow tuning modes (knob), direct frequency entry, tunable BFO, adjustable IF/AF gain, COR/squelch control, Signal level bar graph and tuning.
This unit is faulty, probably in the PSU area. Intermittant display and no audio. Also two buttons missing and signs of wear around the edges of the front panel and on the lid.
