This is an HP (Agilent) 8620C sweep signal generator with 86242D 5.9 - 9.0GHz plug-in. The mainframe is faulty, and the combination shown in images 1&2 below produce no RF output. However, the plug-in is OK if fitted into one of our other 8620C main frames, and so there are pictures below showing this in order to demonstrate the 86242D plug-in. For clarity, THIS sale includess the 8620C ref S02954, and it is FAULTY.
On test, the available levelled output from the 86242D plug-in was more than 13dBm across the range. Offered as-is for "Spares or Repair" due to the fault, poor cosmetics, a couple of slightly "sticky" knobs (need lubrication), and because the frequency scale does not match the frequency range of the plug-in.
