NOS (New, Old Stock) Thomson CSF klystron amplifier tube. Designed for communication equipment, this tube is rated for 1.3kW CW output, and is tunable over the 4.4 to 5.0GHz band. The cathode bias supply is varied to adjust the saturated output power, approximately 3kV for 150W, up to 6.7kV for the full 1.3kW. Type "N" input connector and waveguide output. Forced air cooling. Absolutely unused, mint condition. May have applications in EMC testing, materials research etc.
