The TSI 9186A Frequency Shifter is a device for use with Accousto-Optic cells. It incorporates a 40MHz source and driver, and a "receiver" comprising down converter (to base band) and a programmable frequency shift. Overall gain is approximately 0dB, +/-2dB (measured). Both frequency conversion sections are of the "Image Reject" type.
This unit may have other potential as a general purpose frequency shifter. Please ask if you require more information.
