The IFR 500A is a complete two-way radio test set. This unit works OK in both transmit and receive modes, but is a little off frequency (7KHz @ 433MHz). The battery pack is NOT installed, and the front cover gasket is missing. Minor faults.
The cosmetic condition is fair, clearly having seen a busy life. The worst aspect is a heavy scrape to the top of the case. We have checked inside, the dent has NOT damaged any internal parts.
